Hundreds of Palestinian rioters in Hebron: Two Israelis wounded

Fifteen thousand Palestinians in Hebron participated in the funeral of Palestinian security prisoner, Maisareh Abu - Hamadia, who died this week of cancer in a hospital in Israel.

Prior to the funeral, Arabs threw stones at Border Police officer in the area of the police square in Hebron, and they responded by firing rubber bullets and tear gas.



TV channels of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas broadcasted live images from the funeral. There were masked gunmen and Palestinian security personnel.

During a gathering of about 50 Palestinians in Hebron, stones were thrown at an IDF force. The force retaliated with riot dispersal means. As a result three Palestinians were wounded in an unknown manner.

Two Israelis were lightly injured by stones thrown by Palestinians. In one case a policeman was hit head by a stone thrown at a police car near the settlement of Adam. In another case, a woman was injured by stones thrown at her car near the settlement of Eli. The two victims did not need evacuation.

About a hundred Palestinians threw stones at security forces near the settlement of Yitzhar in Samaria. The soldiers opened fire by riot control measures. During the clashes, an Israeli car and Palestinian car were damaged.

At the same time, Palestinians threw stones at five other locations. There were no casualties.

The young terrorists fired yesterday by the fighters of Netzach Yehuda, Amar Nasser and Vanaj Bilbisi aged 17-18, near the pillbox of IDF in Samaria, were buried at noon in the village Antaba near Tulkarem. An initial investigation of the incident revealed that Nasser threw Molotov cocktails into the IDF post, and that the force in the post opened fire and killed him.
