One year after Mohrh"sh Shick of Breslev had a cardiac arrest, he told his son, "the Lubavitcher Rebbe zy"a was standing over my head and stroked my head and said a few times, 'do not be afraid you'll make it, I worry for you that everything will pass, you'll make it.'"
These words were repeated to his son R 'Moshe Shick - Rav Beit Midrash Heichal Hakodesh in Monsey, on Motzei Shabbos of Shabbos Chol Hamoed and asked abruptly to go with him to the tomb of the Lubavitcher Rebbe Yosef Yitzchak and his son in-law the last Chabad Rebbe zy"a, to hold a secret prayer.
Rabbi Shick explained, "One year ago, I had a heart attack, at 1:35 at night, and now I come here to give thanks to Hashem for the miracle. The reason why I'm coming here is because during the surgery,, when I was under general anesthesia I saw the entire time of the surgery the Lubavitcher Rebbe zy"a standing over my head and patting my head and said a few times, do not be afraid you'll make it, I worry for you that everything will pass, you'll make it. This is precisely the reason that at the same time I had the heart attack, I came to thank Hashem at this place, since the Rabbi zy"a had a part in saving my life. "
Indeed, the tzaddik arrived promptly at 1:35 at night and carried out a prayer for a long time.
