Yesterday (Monday, motzei yom tov) after Maariv, Hgray"l Steinman turned to his associates and warmly wished them 'a healthy summer', and added an interesting blessing: "May we merit salvation from the Lapidniks".

HaGaon Vosner made a similar wish made after prayer to the great congregation who came to his shul, and attended the holiday lock that "criminals and unbelievers will not succeed in their scheme to prevent our Holy Torah study."

As a rare gesture Hgray"l cancelled his fixed shiur at his home, explaining that yeshiva students need to help at this time, to store the Pesach dishes and bring down the chametz dishes, and it is not the time to learn at the expense of necessary help at home.

Recently one of Hgrayl's grandchildren came to consult him how to call his newborn son. "Call him ''Yehoshua' from the root of salvation, so that there will salvation to the people of Israel and the Torah which needs it now," suggested Hgray"l, who in recent times is busy with the decrees over the Haredi community.

Meanwhile, Hgray"l was asked recently by representatives of the Torah community, numbering about a hundred families, since in the last year four different people from the community have lost one of their parents, and another parent is very sick, is there a connection to the community in their parental loss, and he said that "surely there is a connection, because they are all connected and responsible for each other."

When asked, in what they should strengthen, said Hgray"l "The strength of Bnei Torah is in their mouths, and therefore, careful speech is the most important thing which they should strengthen in."

Hgray"l said a similar response to another community which also have a few ill patients and asked Hgray"l advice in what to strengthen: "There is a full text of, "who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble", and it is a lesson to each of us so that we will merit to be held of every disease ... I will not put you, who guards his mouth and tongue, and in that merit may Hashem save us and guard us that we will not hear any more grief amongst Jews at all, "he replied.
