Geniza in the matzos • Does the packaging require archiving?

At the end of Pesach, before throwing out the matzo packages, it is important to note: Some matzo packages may require archiving.

The reason: a new phenomenon, with many of matzo manufacturers tend to write on the box the list of hidurim made in the matzo. For example Komemyut matzo drew on the packaging the special chumras made during baking, which are based on the orders of the moshav Rabbi Hgr"b Mendelson zt"l and his son Hgrm"m zt"l. On the back of the packaging appears the stamp of the current rabbi, Rabbi Moshe, the son of Hgrm"m, who gave his blessing to the move.

But while carefully reading the content of the words, you can make it easier and not attribute them the sacred thus placing them in geniza, the packages of matzo group of Beit Shemesh and Yad Binyamin, printed hidurim including laws of baking matzos.

Hgray"l Steinman, who these packages was brought to his attention, examined the issue and concluded that law, that these packages must not be thrown out. "Bnei Torah must be warned that they should put these packages into geniza, because there is a whole shulchan aruch of matzo baking laws!"
