In his prime years • The avrech Reb Oriya Stein z"l

Baruch Dayan Haemes: At the Maaynei Hayeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak, Rabbi Oriya Stein z"l passed away at the age of 32.

The deceased had malignant disease six years ago and fought it for years until it overtook him.

He was born to his father the Maggid Rabbi Menachem Stein and his mother Mrs. Shoshana Raizel.

He studied at the Nachlas David yeshiva in Petach Tikva, where he stood out in his perseverance. Later he studied at Yeshivat Ateret Yisrael, and was close to the Rosh Yeshiva Hgrb"m Ezrachi. Hgrb"m visited him recently while hospitalized at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

He married his wife, the daughter of Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum, head of Yeshivat Nehora and chairman of the Wolfson Foundation.

After his marriage he continued learning in Bayit Vegan at the Kollel of Ateret Yisrael.

His friends tell of a happy person, and despite his suffering would sing and play music. Whilst at the hospital he would sing to other patients.

A few months ago Hanagid Moshe Wolfson placed a Sefer Torah in Kever Rochel for his recovery.

He left a widow and four young children.

The funeral will leave this evening at 22:30, from his parent's home on Rabbi Laundau Street in Bnei Brak to the Ponovicz cemetery in Bnei Brak, where he will be laid to rest.
