Community service for the religious doctor from 'magic sticker'

District Court judge in Tel Aviv, David Rosen, decreed today (Wednesday) a sentence to six months in prison – served through community service, a year suspended sentence and a fine of 150 thousand shekels of Dr. Amos Bouchnik, an observant Doctor from Bnei Brak convicted two months ago together with businessman Aaron Klein, the inventor of 'magic sticker' to predict heart attack.

Bouchnik was cleared from many of the charges against him, and was convicted on few charges alone.

Klein himself was convicted of fraud and deceit in aggravated circumstances, of over NIS 10 million, all under the guise of business activity, and sometimes using and forgery of documents, including bank documents.

The judge sentenced him to a sentence of seven years and three months in prison. Sentence includes 15 months sentence imposed in another case run in Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, who was accused among other things of fraud and issuing check without cover. In addition, the judge sentenced him to three years of probation, a fine of 50 thousand shekels and compensation in the amount of 200 thousand shekels to complainants of shareholders.

In relation to Bouchnik the judge noted that he "believed in the extraordinary abilities of Klein and was largely captured by his charm and talent. He believed his inventions and improvement of Klein, as well as the business pattern formed in front of him and accompanied him overseas trips. Bouchnik believed naively that in his donor actions and peak he donates to the public and increases income for the company and various investors. "

According to the indictment filed against Bouchnik and Klein, in 2009 Klein began to fraudulently receive money from various businesses. Klein falsely presented himself as a businessman, and a key developer of advanced technological products, including telecommunications. Bouchnik introduced himself to Klein, it is believed, as much money creditors must not invent any product or develop an advanced technological product, operating successfully throughout the world.

Besides the magic stickers, he sold two entrepreneurs in many products, including Advanced mobile phone which allows calls of 200 minutes without a SIM card, clock sophisticated with security cameras and transmission capabilities, a car traveling on solar energy, umbrella, virtual, program forecasting exchange rates, disposable cell phones and hair removal using sound waves.

Apologists of Dr. Bouchnik, lawyers Nati Simhoni, Asaf Klein and Yoav Sananes said in response: "After completing the sentence of Dr. Bouchnik, as issued today by Judge David Rosen, we welcome the conclusion reached by the Court that there is no place of Mr. Bouchnik behind bars. We hope that this affair came to an end, and on the eve of Pesach, Dr. Bouchnik can continue on his way."
