Months after the tender closed in Ramat Beit Shemesh Gimmel - 2 - final results are published.

At the tender 1800 units were offered. 972 of the apartments were offered by the price of land. The rest, 828 apartments, priced for occupant when 50% of them are only for eligible and 50% of them in a free market.

According to the results, one of the major winners in the tender is Shmuel Liani who is the head of the Association of "Areivim Lediyur", which won 90 of the apartments priced at 292,340 shekels per apartment at the size of 74.8 square meters.

Two other organizations headed by Menachem Carmel, 'Ki Mizion' and 'Nachalas Hashvatim', won together 106 apartments. According to the division between the two, Ki Mizion won 50 units at 243,010 shekels per apartment, the size of 85.8 square meters and the association Nachalas Hashvatim won 56 housing units priced at 245,019 shekels an apartment the size of 93.6 square meters .

The Association Degel HaTorah has 100 apartments, but it turned out that these apartments are for assisted living, and there is no way to change their destiny. Because of this, they will have to market the apartments for older people, those who have such housing criteria.

Contractor Robin Landesman is also one of the winners of the tender when he took for himself 123 units, and an area which also includes commercial areas. Recently, there a growing rumor that behind Landesman is the Dezikov chassidus which intends to move its center to Beit Shemesh.

Behadrey Haredim learned that 290 apartments that have not been tendered, were subject to trading back to the door of the Israel Lands Administration, since no relevant suggestions were placed for them. It should be further noted that the disqualification of Haredi organizations in Harish had specific implications regarding the date of publication of the results in Beit Shemesh, because there was more scrutiny there.

Following the publication of the results, Moshe Montag, chairman of the Planning and Building Committee in Beit shemesh said that it is a happy day for him: "The city of Beit Shemesh only intensifies its development and will finally have more Haredi residents than Jerusalem and Bnei Brak. This is a great and happy day. We are happy to be a solution for the housing problem in the Haredi sector."
