Was angry at the airline and announced: "There's a bomb in a suitcase"

Eran Hess, a 44 year old Israeli caused panic on Sunday at the airport in Newark, New Jersey, when he said to an employee of an airline that there is a bomb in his suitcase.

Hess arrived with his family on Sunday morning on the "United Airlines" flight from Tel Aviv to New York; there he was supposed to go on a connecting flight to Florida.

But he learned that his luggage boarded the flight, but he could not fly the plane due to full occupancy.

Hess got angry and demanded to remove his bags from the plane, and when he realized that he had no chance to get his bags back, Hess decided to tell them that he had a bomb in a suitcase.

Newspaper New York Post which reported on the affair said that there was a commotion at the airport, the plane was grounded and 167 passengers had to wait three hours until security spotted Hess's suitcase, and a professional checked the suitcase for bombs.

Meanwhile, Hess and his family left the scene and tried to catch another flight to another terminal. While he was waiting to fly another airline, the police came and arrested him his wife and two children; he was brought before a judge who accused him of creating a false panic which is a third-degree felony.

The judge released him on bail of 100 thousand dollars
