Youngster from Bnei Brak was arrested at the airport: deceived eight hundred thousand dollars

A young man from Bnei Brak is suspected of fraudulently issuing thousands of shekels - and will be brought today (Tuesday) for a discussion at the peace court to extend his detention.

It is suspected that the prisoner, in his twenties, swindled dozens of innocent victims. Material investigation revealed that the suspect took advantage of the innocence of dozens of people and swindled them out of thousands of shekels claiming he needed money to repair his car and that he would ask his father to do wire transfer to the account of the victim (which of course was not done).

It is suspected that the young follow used this method for several months and deceived about 40 innocent victims.

A few months ago suspicions began against the young man and he was arrested at his home for a few days and released. Following the publication of the detention in B'Chadrei Charedim new complaints accumulated against him now, and he was arrested again.

The suspect was arrested by Border Region upon his return from abroad during the weekend and will be submitted to the court statement demands and intention to an indictment by the prosecution.
