The 13th Israeli government was sworn in today (Monday), in the shadow of a strong protest by Haredi parties.

There was a commotion when Binyamin Netanyahu announced his government in the Knesset, when he reached Naftali Bennett's name, members of United Torah Judaism left the Knesset plenum in a measure of protest, while calling towards Naftali Bennett: "Jews do not expel Jews".

United Torah Judaism explained the move: "Naftali Bennett allied an exclusion of Haredim along with Lapid. The bulk of fire was directed at religious Zionism which recently cried 'Jews do not expel Jews', and now its representatives betrayed Haredi Jews. The coalition agreement affects mostly children of the Haredim, yeshiva students and hundreds of thousands in need. The cry of mothers and children were expressed in the growling of the United Torah Judaism representatives."

MK Israel Eichler added: "It is an unforgivable injustice and we will remind them of it."

Later members of United Torah Judaism in the Knesset gave speeches which were particularly sharp, Litzman claimed that "If I had no beard and hat I would still be on duty", referring to the draft he said, "They held no negotiations with us on the matter. They never talked to us, absolutely not. In any case, burden or not - no one will be drafted. Don't let them confuse you. "

Gafni compared the coalition agreements to the White Paper and tore them off the top of the podium, with the tacit backing of Chairman MK Amnon Cohen of Shas.

During the vote on the government, MKs called out sharp cries. Eichler stated that he is voting against the evil government, Gafni called the government 'bad government' and Porush settled for 'against the government which boycotts Haredim'.
