Severe car accident occurred on Route 4 - near the Mesubim intersection when a motorcycle rider hit a car parked by the roadside.

Rescue teams called to the scene treated the motorcycle rider - Daniel Syahu, 35-year-old ultra-Orthodox yeshiva student from Rishon Letzion, who was hit and mortally wounded, after lengthy resuscitation, MDA doctor ruled the death.

Tel Aviv police said that a private vehicle parked on the Mesubim Bridge towards the south, the motorcycle rider hit the car and was killed. A traffic examiner is on the way to examine the incident.

Zeevi Tepper, a Hatzalah medic, said: "the motorcycle rider collided with a parked vehicle and was fatally wounded, unfortunately, after lengthy resuscitation he was pronounced dead. The casualty is a Haredi yeshiva student. The car driver was mildly injured".

Meir Zrgrian, Hatzalah Dan medic, said: "the motorcycle rider sustained multi-system injuries, we tried to save his life and we performed resuscitation, but eventually he was pronounced dead."
