Did the Orthodox ministers boycott the Cabinet meeting this morning? Well, not really.

Although the ministers did not appear, but as one minister says: "There was no decision not to show up. That is just the way it turned out."

Some ministers have good grounds for absence: the outgoing Minister of Religious Affairs Yaakov Margi celebrates his son's bar mitzvah this evening. Outgoing Housing and Construction Minister, Ariel Atias, also celebrates a family event: The family spent Shabbos in Beer Sheva, where the family celebrated Shabbos sheva brachos of his daughter, who got married on Thursday, and today sheva brachos will be held in the city.

During recent government meetings the Ministers presented the achievements of their offices. Interior Minister Eli Yishai presented the first part of the achievements of his office last week and today will continue.

In a conversation with one of the ministers he admits hard feelings, and that "there is not much point in making an effort to come, and therefore the rest did not arrive. But there was no coherent decision to boycott."

However, he promises: "We will act against the new government."
