During the night, two more suspects – minors, turned themselves into Moriah District Police in Jerusalem, - for attacking the Arab teacher last week in Kiryat Moshe Jerusalem.
Last week, the night after the attack on the teacher, a minor was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the assault, but despite police request the court to extend his detention in four days, the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court said that the boy will be released to house arrest until next weekend.
In response to the release his attorney, attorney David Halevy, on behalf of the Association VeChoneinu said: "I am pleased that the court ordered the release of my client, the boy is a minor with no criminal record, admitted during interrogation on his very minor part, in the incident and cooperated with investigators.
The two who turned themselves in tonight, will be brought this morning to the Magistrates court in the capital for a remand, and the police state that their investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected.
Assessment held by Yohanan Danino last week, referred to the sequence of events recently occurring on nationalist or racist background in various places around the country, and said that it is forbidden to ignore such events "of criminal phenomenon and contemptible."
"Israeli police acted decisively in all the recent events, arrested the suspects involved and we will exploit them in the investigation and the full extent of the law, this is our eternal answer to the discovery and expression of racism, this is the way to take care to eradicate it."
