18 thousand dollars - that's the amount proposed to a Chabad Chassid who was seated next to the Spinka Rebbe - Borough Park on a flight, to replace him, but he turned down the offer.

Newspaper Israel Today reports that last Thursday The Rebbe boarded a flight from Israel to the New York. A Chabad Chassid from the south was seated next to him.

Eli Jean journalist from newspaper Yediot South, who knows the chassid, says that according to witnesses who were on the flight, the suggestions turned to the chassid to switch places and merit sitting next to the Rebbe, reached 18 thousand dollars. Ultimately, the chassid turned down the proposals, preferring to remain seated next to the Rebbe.

In the Hasidic world, the right to sit next to the Rebbe is worth a lot of money. On different holidays, visits and trips, devotees are willing to pay large sums to join the Rebbe.
