Eichler attacks "Naftali Bennett bought falling party"

Tonight (Wednesday), at the Assembly podium, MK Israel Eichler referred to the exposure of corruption in primaries in the Jewish Home and Labor Party.

"In Zionist parties dire corruption was revealed in the primaries process. For years they mocked Torah Judaism for which Gedolei Yisrael set the Knesset list. They preached us democracy. Until superbly democratic people from the left came from Yesh Atid and Livni. On the right with Lieberman, there are also no longer primaries. Everyone realized the hard way, that if you want a list of people who are faithful to the path of the party and its voters, one shouldn't give the list to machers who bring crates of membership forms paid by the owners of capital and interest.

"One doesn't leave the fate of a party to the fate of dice players and obscure lottery winners.
The biggest disaster which happened in the primaries is prominent in what happened to religious Zionism. The NRP with all its faults, has a history of more than sixty years.

"Someone named Naftali Bennett came out of nowhere with 100 million dollars in his pocket, bought the falling party "The Jewish Home" and made it into a political start-up which yielded twelve seats and traded it in the coalition exchange and sold it to the highest bidder.

"I hope he did it legally, but even if it is legal, and even if he didn't send undercover investigators to his rivals MK Zevulun Orlev and Slomiansky, there is a terrible distortion here. The very fact that the man of capital and money party took a rooted party and made it to a party that in his image, and everyone - including the National Union – is bowing to him and give him the authority to do whatever he wants, shows that the system of primaries has collapsed.

"Even in Likud, people who do not vote Likud determined the composition of the list, that shows that the system of primaries is wrong. In the rooted Labor Party there are people with boxes and now it is suspicious of criminal activity. All this shows that primaries are not a democratic way, but a commercial one.

"The conclusion is that you made a mistake not only in the electoral system but also in innovations in education and the economy which you brought from great America. Primaries in America are also corrupt and rotten no less than the dictatorship of Putin. Only the capital millionaires determine who has a chance at being president, or senator or congressman. If Obama's sponsors would not invest a billion dollars, he would not have been selected. Romney who lost the presidency has also invested a billion dollars. No one of the ordinary citizens could not be president or a senator or a congressman. Corruption there rises, capitalists determine the government, there is no justice there, there's no integrity.

"One has to learn from this that the modern non-Jewish world does not bring tidings to the world. Europe will not teach is what is the core curriculum, what is a nation's roots, how one has to educate children to prepare them for life. All these things which you're trying to impose on us, you will see at the end they are burdens of falsehood. Incidentally, the state education in Israel is ranked in math tests between Indonesia Malaysia. In math tests, they fail too. The truth is that if they would teach children Toras Chaim and Ahavas Chessed of the Torah of Israel for thousands of years, it would create a better generation for us, a more beautiful nation and a nation we can be proud of."
