More attacks on Arabs: minor arrested; to be released to house arrest

This morning, a juvenile who was arrested last night on suspicion of involvement in attacks on an Arab teacher in Kiryat Moshe Jerusalem, was brought to the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court, But despite police request to extend his detention by 4 days, the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court instructed that the boy be released to house arrest of a few days.

The boy will be released tomorrow (Friday) at 12:00, under house arrest until Thursday under the supervision of his parents, NIS 1,000 deposit and bail by his father for the sum of NIS 2000.

Postponing the release by a day is designed to enable the police to complete their investigation actions required.

In response to release defense attorney David Halevi said on behalf of Honeinu association that, "I am pleased that the Court ordered the release of my client, the boy is a minor with no criminal record, he admitted during his interrogation his part, which is very minor, the incident and cooperated with investigators."
