Failed attempt to assassinate Governor Vadim Rabinovich

Failed attempt to assassinate Jewish oligarch, Vadim Rabinovich, reports the news sites in Ukraine.

Komsomolskaya Pravda news website reveals that a bomb was attached to Rabinovich's car two days ago, in Kiev, capital of Ukraine.

As a result, the car exploded, but Rabinovich was not hurt.

Oligarch spokesperson confirmed the news and said that Rabinovich filed a complaint with the police. It is still not clear who put the explosive material on Rabinovich's car or what the motive was.

Kiev police spokesman, Igor Mihako, said that according to eye-witnesses, masked young man of medium height with a baseball cap, was seen and fled.

Another eyewitness said that the blast was so strong that the windows in a house near the site of the blast - were shattered.

Rabinovich is a communications tycoon. He also serves as president of the World Jewish Congress - a Ukrainian and a great contributor to Jewish institutions in Ukraine and abroad.
