Poll: Shas climbs to 9; Likud greater than its parts

Due to the continued fighting in Gaza and Netanyahu's insistence opposite the position of the U.S. President Barack Obama today published data survey conducted by Institute Politics Panals for the Knesset Channel which indicate that Likud is strengthening and gets 30 seats.

In second place is the Habayit Hayehudi faction winning 18 seats. Avodah with 15 seats, while "Yisrael Beitenu", headed by Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman wins eight seats. It should be noted that before the announcement of the Secretary of State for parting with the Likud, Likud won 28 seats, a lower amount which the Likud receives now alone.

The biggest surprise in the survey records rather Shas which broke several weeks ago a negative peak and received 6 seats rose back up and receives nine seats. Yahadut Hatorah remains stable with 7 seats, Yesh Atid drops to 10, Meretz 10 and Hatnua 4.

It is noted that a survey conducted a few days before Yisrael Beiteinu faction broke up with Likud, Likud received 28 seats, while Likud alone now exceeds the number of seats received with the two movements together.

Survey of the Knesset Channel: Likud 30, Habayit Hayehudi 18, Avodah 15, Yesh Atid 10, Meretz 10, Shas 9, Yisrael Beiteinu 8, Yahadut Hatorah 7, 4 and Arab movement 9.

Another finding in the survey which is examined is public satisfaction with the performance of the Prime Minister with 72% percent of the public satisfied with the performance of Netanyahu, 71% are with Ya'alon and actually Gantz receives 89% percent of the public whom are satisfied with the performance.
