Yesterday (Monday) Behadrey Haredim reported on the arrest of a young man on Saturday who threw two Molotov cocktails at the Jewish center and synagogue in Toulouse, France. Tonight it happened in Germany: Molotov cocktails were thrown at a synagogue in Wuppertal, West Germany. No one was injured and no damage to the place.
Police and firefighters were called to the scene by a neighbor who noticed smoke rising near the synagogue. Police arrested 18 suspects of Muslim descent, and are pursuing two other suspects.
In recent weeks - since the beginning of Operation 'Preventive Edge' in Gaza, Muslims in Germany organized anti - Israel demonstrations, during which there were anti-Semitic slogans. At a demonstration held in Berlin, crowds called "Jewish swine cowards." In another demonstration masses attacked an Israeli couple who got caught in the place, and were rescued by the police.
Last week, the German government tried to reassure its Jewish citizens and said that will not tolerate anti-Semitic behavior towards them. On Friday the daily common in Germany, Bild, devoted the title page of his project titled "Never hatred of Jews!" which reflected dozens of politicians, celebrities and people from the street against anti-Semitism in Germany.
