Following an attack on an army reservist last night (Monday) in Beit Shemesh, published in Behadrey Haredim, a Boro Park activist initiated the funding for all repair expenses of the injured soldier's car.

The soldier, a resident of Netivot came to the city to visit his children, went to pray in the synagogue at Rama on Hillel Street in the city. After he left, extremists began shouting at him and at his children and smashed the windows of his car.

The sponsor is a hassidic activist from Boro Park in Brooklyn, who appealed to a tycoon to finance the expenses, and with the help of a journalist who is a resident of Beit Shemesh mediation was carried out between the soldier and the tycoon to transfer the money.

The tycoon provided a credit card number to the company which fixed the vehicle to be charged all costs.

One of those involved in the initiative say to Behadrey Haredim: "rumor of a soldier injured by ultra-Orthodox extremists who think they are haredim, made wings. It is simply unbelievable that someone who can come in and cause damage with his own two hands at such a difficult time when soldiers are fighting and risking their lives for us".
