Kiryat Yearim: Arabs burst into the yard of the Belzer Rebbe's house - and arrested

Yesterday (Tuesday) in the afternoon - at about 13:15, a witness saw several suspects breaking into the home of the Rebbe of Belze in Kiryat Yearim. The witness who was also working for the security, called the security officer of the settlement, and together with another person, they continued to observe the house to track the intruders.

After a few minutes the suspects apparently realized they were discovered, they fled to the construction site where they work, security vehicle and police arrived at the scene, and with the help of an eyewitness identified two suspects. At the same time, an examination conducted at the residence of the Rebbe - it turned out that it was indeed broken into.

The two suspects are Palestinian residents of the territories, Wagdi Zitawi 20 and Imad Abrius 23, the two were questioned, admitted that they are in Israel illegally and entered Israel through holes in the fence, and also gave conflicting versions about their actions shortly before the arrest.

The Rebbe does not reside permanently in the house, and according to the butler was not there for several days.

Judge Irit Cohen, vice president, concluded that the evidence was there to establish a reasonable suspicion against the suspects. And for the completion of the investigation is extended the detention of the two men until Friday.

From the Belzer Rebbe's home it was said that there is an advanced computerized security system installed, and immediately upon entering the yard security officer and other volunteers were rushed to the scene. Before the intruders could enter the house, they heard noises outside the fence, and fled.
