The case of a female Arab in her 30s attacked by some Jewish girls in Jerusalem continues to cause a storm: an Orthodox policeman in compulsory service in the Tel Aviv region was removed today (Wednesday) from the ranks of the police, after publishing a comment yesterday on the case, in which he wrote: "It is shame the ... Arab did not die."

The attack happened in a case earlier this week, it is believed - a young Arab woman was attacked in the shuttle train station at the entrance to Kiryat Moshe in Jerusalem. Witness belonging to leftist circles, photographed the event and distributed the images in the media in Israel and abroad.

According to the testimony, the young Jewish girls cursed the Arab, shoved and pinned her to an advertisement sign.

Officer Ariel Shapiro wrote yesterday the status on the popular Facebook page called 'statuses chirp'. The post was written in response to the documenting of the Arab attack. Shapiro's response, which incidentally received also a large number of 'likes', has created a storm in itself.

In response the Police Commissioner Yochanan Danino, decided to dismiss the officer, and will be returned to the IDF to sort again.

The comment, by the way, has been removed in the meantime. Also, on Shapiro's profile image appeared in which he embraced with the police commissioner. Further examination revealed that the image is also removed in the meantime.
