Fear of Escalation: the hunger strikes of the Ofer prison inmates, violent demonstrations, friction with the settlers, and the death of a prisoner in Megiddo prison - all these joined an overall picture of increasing the flames and increase the fear that will develop into a third intifada.

Israel transferred through Attorney Yitzhak Molcho, the personal envoy of the Prime Minister, demanding the Palestinian Authority to calm the area. Despite the protests, the taxes of January were transferred to the Authority, despite the protests.

During the weekend there were riots between Qusra villagers and Jewish residents of Samaria outpost of Esh Kodesh. Two Palestinians were wounded by live bullets, but opinions are still divided where they were shot. Palestinians claim that the settlers fired the bullets, but a spokesman said that there was no firing on their past. The IDF claims that the forces that were there on his behalf did not fire.

Palestinian prisoner's death at Megiddo Prison only fueled the riots: Yesterday (Saturday) Arafat Walid Jaradat died in Megiddo Prison. Rescue teams were unable to revive him and the cause of death was apparently cardiac arrest. The initial autopsy findings will be transferred to representatives of the Palestinian Authority.

Coordinator credentials issued to the detainee and the doctor on their behalf to participate in the autopsy themselves. Palestinian prime minister said in a statement, that the French news agency reported that he "confirms the need to immediately find out the real reasons that led to his death."

4500 prisoners returned today (Sunday) their breakfast as identification with the prisoner's death.

IDF are preparing for protests and curfew was declared on the ports command center. Most attention will be directed to Hebron, where an Adloyada procession is expected to take place.
Even at the end of the week there were demonstrations in several places following the hunger strike of Palestinian prisoners and calling for their release. In Ramallah, near the Ofer Prison, a hundred Palestinians came and threw stones at IDF forces.

Hebron - Palestinians on Friday celebrated the anniversary of Palestinians killed by Baruch Goldstein. Protesters demanded the army to open the Sohda Street in the city and clashed with them. Only after the firing of tear gas canisters were evacuated from the scene.

At Temple Mount on Friday hundreds of Palestinians clashed with police, at Mughrabi Gate. Jerusalem District decided to enter the mountain and break up the demonstration.

In light of the fear of escalation, a senior Fatah official said that "I pledge on behalf of all Palestinian leadership – there is no plan for bloodshed, the struggle will be non-violent."
