4 youngsters were arrested on the Temple Mount • Police: bowed at the exit

Four students were arrested at noon today on the Temple Mount with the departure from the area. The four were detained at the Elijah mountain police station.

Rabbi Avraham Issacs, evidence to the arrest, says that when the morning came to the Temple Mount, he met four young men and they walked together to the mountain, due to police orders to Jews to cling in groups, and not to walk freely on the Temple Mount.

Upon entering they saw large groups of Muslims sitting on the mountain roads, waiting for the Jews. Arabs shouted as they passed by them chanting "Allah Akbar". The policeman who walked with the group became stressed and urged them to hurry up and leave. The tour continued as usual until their departure from the mountain, where the policeman suddenly stopped four youngsters. In answer to Rabbi Issacs question, the officer claimed that the men bowed at the gate.
Rabbi Issacs claims he didn’t see them bow. He believes "it is hysteria of the officer, and lawyers should get involved and quickly release them."

Attorney Aviad Visoly, Chairman of the Temple organizations, condemns the detention of the youngsters, and clarifies that "Jews may bow on the Temple Mount. It is a mitzvah from the Torah, and elementary civil right. Precisely the detention of defenseless minors in respect to bowing at the Temple Mount is a serious offense of false arrest. There are no police no legal grounds for their detention."

He said the police would have to release them immediately.
Attorney Visoly recommends to anyone arrested for false arrest on the Temple Mount to file for damages against the police, until the cancellation of the unacceptable procedure and racist discrimination against Jews on the Temple Mount.

Jerusalem police said that during a visit to the Temple Mount four Jews bowed down on the floor. Police force who accompanied them took them out of the mountain, using reasonable force. They were taken for questioning in David Region.
