Ads of Hardakim
More than two weeks ago the Hhrd"kim contest began: Children and adults from all regions of the country were asked to send derogatory illustrations and caricatures of Haredim serving in the IDF, which will be published on ads in haredi concentrations in the framework of the ongoing campaign on the issue.
The competition was divided into two parts: professional competition and competition for children.
According to the earlier explanation given at the beginning of the competition, the professional competition will only feature specialized professional caricatures and cartoons which will bear clear and sharp messages. "The best will be publish and distributed once a month." While in the competition children, children of all ages will participate, "each painting should have an image of a Harda"k and children around him, and should include the attitude of children to him."
The elite pictures will be distributed in street adds, and the rest will be sent by email to hundreds of thousands of registered by special distribution. So far more than 50 illustrations have arrived - mainly by haredi children. As far as known at this stage, only 15 of them fit for public use.
