Breslev corner Lubavitch: a rare and special event was held last night (Tuesday) in Yavnael in the north of Israel, on occasion of the yahrtzeit of the Rebbe of Lubavitch. Rabbi Eliezer Shic – called by his hassidim 'the Tzaddik of Yavniel', held a Chassidic hisva'adus (gathering) on the occasion, where Chabad melodies were sung.
This is an event that did not take place in previous years in Breslev, something which gave the event a historic atmosphere.
The event was combined with a central Sheva Brochos for six chossons in Breslev who got married last week, and was attended by hundreds of Chassidim
.
During the drosha which the Tzaddik of Yavniel gave, he told several stories about the Rebbe and explained the relationship between Chabad and Breslev.
Last Pesach the Tzaddik of Yavniel related that the Lubavitcher Rebbe came to him in a dream while lying in a critical condition in hospital after serious cardiac events he had the previous Pesach, and said to him: "Do not be afraid, you'll make it, I am taking care for you that everything will pass, you'll make it."
