Shiurei Torah Organization, existing in Boro Park, appealed yesterday (Tuesday) to the public's assistance to locate a senior's van which was stolen yesterday, in which were wedding clothes of family members, one of whom is getting married tonight.
The truck is a white Ford van with 12 seats, with a license plate with the number ARG1352. Another sign: on the door next to the driver's seat there is a significant scratch.
The van was stolen yesterday in the late morning in Boro Park, containing the mother-in-law's and several members of the family's clothes, as well as tallis and tefillin of the van's owner.
Hashomrim Organization, which enlisted to the aid of the family, is asking anyone who recognizes the van on the logo of the organization, to call phone number 718.871.6666 and inform.
Announcements about the stolen van were hung up in all the synagogues in Boro Park.
Meanwhile, last Shabbos, a shuttle bus of Belz Yeshiva in Montreal was stolen. Last night the bus was found parked near the border between Canada and New York, when it appears that the thieves wanted to transfer the bus to New York, but withdrew at the last minute from this intention. Valuable equipment that belonged to the driver was stolen from the bus.
