Again violence against haredi soldiers: Haredi soldier driving tonight (Sunday) in the Bukharan Quarter of Jerusalem was attacked by ultra-Orthodox extremists.
According to the evidence gathered to B'Chadrei Charedim, the Haredi soldier drove his car in the Bukharan Quarter. He had to stop briefly, and when he tried to continue he was surrounded by several dozen extremists, including members of Kamenetz yeshiva, and those prevented from moving any further.
Extremists around him screamed at him: "smelly chardak", "get away from here," "You pollute the environment" and more.
The soldier, who feared the situation he got caught into would deteriorate, called the police, whilst trying to defend himself.
The group who attacked the soldier took a violent step when one of the radicals threw the yarmulke off his head. The group said to the soldier that a person with IDF uniform is not worthy to enter into a Haredi neighborhood or wear a yarmulke.
Police forces arrived on the scene and rescued him.
Investigation opened at the Jerusalem Police.
