Condition of the child who drowned yesterday (Sunday) in the water park pool at Kibbutz Chafetz Chaim, is still defined critical.

The boy, aged 9, came to the pool with his brother as a school conducted trip by the Talmud Torah Be'er Yitzchak in Beer Sheva. During their stay in the pool he drowned, and he was pulled from the water unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing. After resuscitation which lasted well on the way to the hospital, the pulse returned. His condition is still severe, and the intensive care at Kaplan Hospital in Rechovot is fighting for his life.

Lowland Region Police yesterday arrested four people for questioning - Director of the pool, followed by the Talmud Torah accompanier and two life guards. They were interrogated and questioned; the manager and two rescuers were released to house arrest for five days.

Pool owners were also summoned to a hearing by the station commander Chief Superintendent Yair Hetzroni and Attorney General of the station, and the site itself was closed to the invention of all necessary approvals. Police indicate that the material will be transferred to the local authority to consider additional invention conditions.
