Good news for tens of thousands of disciples of the Council of Torah Sages of the Shas, Harav Ovadia Yosef: After a one-day hospitalization at Hadassah Hospital in Ein Kerem – Harav Ovadia was released to his home.
Recall yesterday evening Harav Ovadia fainted on his way to the shul next door fell and injured his lower torso. Although he suffered intense pain he returned to full consciousness.
The hospital said that Harav Ovadia was only slightly injured, but just in case, and on the advice of his doctors gave him a comprehensive series of tests, as mentioned, following the tests, Harav Ovadia was released to his home.
During most of the day in which he was hospitalized Harav Ovadia continued learning as usual. MKs who visited him said that Harav Ovadia functions and speak normally. Among others visited the hospital Shas chairman Aryeh Deri and MK Eli Yishai and Ariel Atias.
