11 months to the passing of Hgry"sh: Hachnasas Sefer Torah and 7 completions of Shas

On Thursday will mark the eleventh month of the passing of Rav Elyashiv zt"l, as customary, at that time the sons of Hgry"sh will stop saying Kaddish.

Three exciting events will be combined at the presence of marking the date, including Hachnasas Sefer torah, seven completions of Shas and end of the first maseches learned at the senior shiur of Tiferes Bachurim-maseches beitza, studied by the son of Hgry"sh Hagaon Rabbi Moshe Elyashiv.

Family members and students will mark the event with Haran Yeshiva students at the central event for the Siyum Hashas and Hachnasas Sefer Torah written specifically leilui nishmas Hgry"sh, which began being written by Hgr"tz Weisfish during the days of the shiva.

Finishing of writing the letters will be in the home of his son, Rabbi Moshe Elyashiv, from there the Torah procession will leave, and will be placed in the renowned Beis Midrash - caravan, where Hgry"sh sat and learned and davened in the last decade of his life.

Following that will take place the siyum maseches beitza by Rabbi Moshe Elyashiv, followed by Rabbi Pinchas Mendelssohn, one of the senior students saying Kaddish.

In addition, there will be the siyum shas learned seven times by his students and family members of Hagaon Rabbi Yosef carefully, as instructed by Hgry"sh during his life: "Learning without understanding, it's almost not worth nothing." The siyum hashas will be honored by Rabbi Benyamin David Elyashiv, and kaddish will be said by Rabbi Avraham Elyashiv.
