Burglary on Shabbos at the Vizhnitz shul in Ashdod • Burglars stole property and valuables and threw pairs of tefillin into the toilet • Police are investigating

Burglary occurred yesterday (Shabbos) at the Vizhnitz shul in Rovah 7 in the city of Ashdod.
In the afternoon, lockers which are used to store personal belongings of the chassidim were broken. These include: tefillin, mikvah towels, sifrei kodesh and others.
The thieves threw several pairs of tefillin to the toilets, and several cell phones were stolen.
Burglars took the keys to a car parked near the Beit Midrash. They broke into the vehicle but the vehicle code prevented the theft. The thieves stole the GPS from the car.
One of the chassidim who spoke with B'Chadrei Charedim expressed shock at the incident, and disgrace that the tefillin were discarded in the toilet.
Police are investigating the incident.
