Thousands of participants in the Belzer Farshpil celebration on Motzei Shabbos, were not surprised to see the deaf orchestra also known as the silent choir.

According to ancient custom, also known in other courts, the elders of Belz Hasidim would go up on tables carrying instruments real and imaginary, including cymbals, trumpet, drums and violin, while vigorously shaking their hands, but their voice is not heard. Only the guests burst into song.

This custom source is probably due to the fact that the weddings of descendants of Rebbes abroad, were invited Non-Jewish musicians, and so as not to reproach, or for balance, were also 'musicians' supposedly from amongst the locals.

This is a custom stored carefully in Belz. This also took place at the Belzer Rebbe's wedding, followed by his son Rabbi Aharon Mordechai Rokeach. And now, for the third time continuing the tradition.

However, what surprised and aroused great excitement especially, was the presence of one of the elders on the stage, Rabbi Eliezer Estreicher from Brooklyn, a Holocaust survivor, who experienced the journey entourage of the Rebbe's escape from the town of Belz on the night of Simchat Torah in the midst of hakafos. Now he arrived from the United States, to take part in the joy of Belz.

During the moments when he danced and danced with all his might, along with his fellow "musicians", Rabbi Eliezer revealed in a moment of exaltation, his arm in front of the audience, and showed the number a15759 the Nazi thugs carved on his arm in the labor camps. Tears streamed down the faces of thousands of followers. Later, the old man explained this step enveloped in excitement:

"I went through the holocaust; I was witness to what happened in Belz in Galicia, I was and remain alive and getting through the hurdles of the Nazi hell. I was witness to the renewed and glorious resurgence of Hasidism, from Hmhar"a zt" l to the present - under the leadership of the Rebbe Shlit"a. This closure is one of the most exciting occasions I have experienced."

Although it was released in B'Chadrei Charedim, a seudas aniyim did not take place, custom was assembled with a replacement last night at the Rebbe's house for twenty paupers and beggars, and they brought another honor to the Rebbe's residence, limited to poor meal, attended only by the Rebbe, the son Rabbi Aharon Mordechai Rokeach, Rabbi Shalom the chassan and a handful of associates of the Rebbe. During the meal, sang songs of emotion and joy. Towards the end of the meal, the Rebbe handed out tzeddaka to the poor.

After the seuda, late at night, the Rebbe went to pray at the Western Wall in preparation for the simcha. Then the Rebbe continued opposite to the Mount of Olives to visit the tombs of the Ohr Hachaim zy"a, HaRashash and tent of Admorim of Rachmastrivka, where he showered in prayer for the bride and groom and their families, and for all of Israel.
