Why did Vizhnitz boys surprise the Rebbe with Yom Tov clothes?

Vizhnitz wearing Yom Tov clothes in honor of the Hachnasas Sefer Torah which will be held this afternoon L'Ilui Nishmas the Rebbe the Yeshuos Moshe of Vizhnitz zt"l.

Thousands of Vizhnitz yeshiva students surprised the Rebbe and dressed in Shabbos clothes, stabilized early morning for a full day of Torah learning with a goal to finish the Shas L'Ilui Nishmas the Rebbe zt"l until 14:00 noon.

At around 15:00 will start writing of the letters. A tycoon who wants to participate in writing may do so in exchange for contributing NIS 25,000 for the benefit of the institutions.

Two hours later, a huge procession will begin with 3000 children accompanying the Hachnasas Sefer Torah, along with thousands of followers, on the streets of Kiryat Vizhnitz blocked traffic from the morning.
After the dances in the city streets, around 20:30 pm, the Rebbe will hold a tish which will end at 1:00 am. Residents of the area and yeshiva students will dance again.

It should be noted that during Seuda Shlishis, the Rebbe said during his speech excitedly, "I invite my holy grandfathers to gladly take part in the honor of my holy father."

On Motzei Shabbos the Vizhnitzer Rebbe sent the Sefer Torah to his brother the Rebbe of Vizhnitz, to write a letter in the Sefer Torah.
