A year has passed since the Klal Yisrael gathering at City Feld stadium. This conference, the first in a string of other conferences in other countries, especially in Europe dealt with ways of coping with the ravages of technology. During the conference, the Gedolei Yisrael called to use only filtered internet. Rabbis ordered to install computers and mobile devices with filters which prevent browsing in inappropriate websites.
Last week a meeting was held at the Skulan Rebbe, who serves as head of the Union for the purity of the camp, which was participated by a number of rebbes and rabbis, and decided to hold another meeting, to stand under the title 'Hadar Kebluhah'.
Last year, the Satmar Rebbe did not participate in the large convention. The Rabbis who came to his residence to invite him, the Rebbe explained that he cannot take part in an event where speakers will bear speeches in English and not in the Yiddish language. Another argument raised by the Rebbe was then that one can not transmit the same message to all the inhabitants of cities everywhere. According to him, the entire public dimension is different. A Jews of Crown Heights is not like a Williamsburg Jew, and there is no similarity been a Flatbush resident and that of Monsey.
This time, the fact that the gathering was sectored and designed only to residents of Borough Park, Satmar also took part. So, last night (Thursday), Erev Rosh Chodesh Sivan, the same day as the conference of last year, the gathering was held in the vast park located in the 18th Avenue which featured Gedolei Yisrael, and during that repeatedly mentioned the regulations and the need to make it stronger.
Despite the rainy weather, the park filled up very quickly, and already an hour after the start of the convention, the police had to close because of the clutter.
At around 7:00 Mincha started. Thereafter, Rabbi Rabbi Wolfson, Emunas Yisrael Rabbi in the city went up before the alter and began reciting Tehillim.
There was a line of distinguished speakers: Chairman of the event Hagaon Rabbi Kalman Halberstam head of yeshiva Ketana Satmar Williamsburg, Hagaon Rabbi Yosef Leifer son of Nadvorna Rebbe of Borough Park, Queens Yeshivat Satmar, Rabbi Aaron Schiff from Antwerp who arrived especially and Hagaon Rabbi Zvi Halpern Wein community Rabbi in the city, who spoke on behalf of all the city's rabbis and communities and declared the regulations agreed on the opinion of all.
Rabbi Halperin said that anyone with a device connected to the Internet which is not filtered, whether it is on the computer or cell phone device may not serve or work in a holy role, as a sofer, shochet, baal koreh, baal tefilla, and the like.
He further stressed that this is the requirement of the gabbaim to apply it, and I cannot take this declaration of obligation, the other '... He added later and offered to establish new yeshivas for dropouts who dropped out of the ordinary frameworks, since wandering the streets, without any binding framework, is the root of all evil and the collateral deterioration of format spiritual abyss.
Following him spoke Reb Dovid Albesky of Gur who spoke on behalf of all the institution directors. He also made a clear statement, that all institutions managers decided not to accept or return in the next school year children who their parents have in their home or in their pockets any technological device, without filtered internet.
Later the Rebbe of Sanz Grebov recited Aveinu Malkeinu and the Rebbe of Zemigrad said the Tefilas Hashla. The event was ended by the Rebbe of Rachmastrivke.
