Satmar Presents: 100 thousand dollars for a ticket to the dinner

Satmar Chassidim in Borough Park will spend Shabbos in the shadow of the Satmar Rebbe, who will come from his Williamsburg neighborhood, along with guests coming from all over New York, in honor of the opening of the gates of the big new Beit Midrash of Satmar Borough Park, and for appeal of 'and we showed our sons', intended to assist in completing the construction of the Beit Midrash.

Six years ago, on Motzei Shabbos Parshas Bamidbar תשס"ז, was the laying of the cornerstone of the Beit Midrash with the participation of thousands of chassidim. Over six years of construction raised by activists about $ 30 million, to build the magnificent structure that contains seven stories, including shteiblech, classrooms, auditoriums and more.

For the Satmar Hasidim in Borough Park it is a double joy, because since that Shabbos Parashas Bamidbar תשס"ז the Rebbe has not come to the city, and they are preparing for the festive Shabbos. Prayers and tishim will be in the Beit Midrash, which was decorated for the occasion with multicolored lights, appropriate signs and festive décor.

Staff activists and organizers, took upon them to prepare guest houses for the Satmar Hassidim willing to spend Shabbos in the shadow of the Rebbe. Avenue Plaza Hotel and Park Hotel were hired for the guests, and two large halls of 2000 seats were hired separately for Shabbos meals.

Also, the crowd getting ready for the 'bagleiten' status (accompanying the Rebbe) on Motzei Shabbos, when thousands of chassidim with residents of Borough Park will accompany the Rebbe to the new Beit Midrash from the hostel in which he will be staying.

The Rebbe will be staying at the home of Rabbi Avrohom Lefkowitz, son of the legendary Satmar leader Rabbi Leibish Lefkowitz z"l.

On Sunday there will be a private party, during which there will be an appeal, 'and we showed our sons' for the wealthy chassidim.
