In preparation for the rally to be held tonight (Monday) in London against recruiting yeshiva students to the IDF the Satmar Rebbe publishes a letter in which he called to participate. Assembly is expected to take place in the Pardes halls of Stamford Hill.

Letter for Satmar Hassidim in London said: "A time of trouble for Yaakov the rule of infidels in the Holy Land make all sorts of secret decrees that have never been heard of, to overthrow our boys, avreichim and learners sitting in the tent of Torah, dropping them on the network Haystack of the profane army and profaning God forbid, whose very existence is a rebellion against the holy name and His Word in faith and sheer heresy.

"The fact that a prisoner does not release himself from prison, and the eyes of the inhabitants of the Holy Land are contingent to us foreigners to rumble the entire world against the terrible decree and come to the aid of Hashem, due to the call to join the holy call of the great rabbis of your city, members of the Badatz Eideh Charedi shlita to participate in a rally against the decree.

It also said: "To gather together to defend ourselves and our children and arouse mercy of Heaven so Hashem may look and see his people's cries and remove the evil decrees, and salvation can only come from Him."

Meanwhile, B'Chadrei Charedim learned that the rally of the Eideh Charedi in Israel that was supposed to take place on Thursday was postponed to next Thursday.

Functionaries explained that the delay was due to several reasons, including the two major. First, to wait for the participation of rabbis from abroad who are expected to arrive in Israel for yom tov. Second: this Thursday is Rosh Chodesh Sivan, the date on which many tend to pray at the graves of tzaddikim throughout the country, which could result in a smaller amount of participants than planned.
