Future city o Harish makes a significant step in the secular tune. This comes after one of the cornerstones of the Orthodox rush to the city is going to crash soon.
By careful examination of the new package of Arrangements Law - that we bring here in the first publication - shows that the state intends to immediately cancel the generous housing grants which should be provided to buyers in Harish and Upper Nazareth Har Yonah.
Thus, if there nullification of the auctions of the Orthodox organizations was not enough, the winnings of secular groups and dati leumi now comes the news that would probably plunge the final straw in the haredi Harish dream.
All calculations of Orthodox organizations in Harish, faced with an attractive offer to the public, based on two grants: a contractors grant of 45 thousand shekels per unit, and development grant in the amount of 60 thousand shekels for each purchaser, designed to encourage residential development areas.
First grant in the amount of 45 thousand shekels was not revoked, but conditional on the conclusion of construction within 45 months, which is a very large question mark. However, personal grant in the amount of 60 thousand shekels per purchase, which was actually an iron grant and an important consideration in the decision to purchase in Harish – was canceled immediately.
Cancellation of the grant boosts prices in Harish to 800,000 shekels per housing unit - which places a high hurdle to the families of the haredi public, who hoped to find a cheap housing solution in Harish.
Har Yona in Nazareth Elite also leaped following the cancellation of the grant.
