Fruits of incitement: Carmiel yeshiva student attacked

Young Orthodox in his 20s who was attacked recently in Carmiel, filed a complaint with the local police station, he said, a few days ago he was violently attacked by two secular youth who fled the scene.

The event took place on Sunday – Lag B'Omer: The student rushed to call the police, and then was taken to the hospital in Nahariya, where he required medical treatment.

After a quick investigation conducted by the Police Carmiel, were arrested today (Wednesday) two suspects residents of the city, one of them a minor age 16 and the other 20-year-old adult. Police said one of them is a former boxer, what influenced the intensity of violence.

They admitted that they beat the young man, and claimed that the reason for the attack is because "he did not come at a good time."

Suspects were imprisoned, and will be brought tomorrow to discuss extending their detention in court Acre. Office plans to file charges against them during their detention.
