Wave of fires: Eight injured in the fire in prison Masiyahu

Fire broke out today (Sunday) in a Wood Factory in prison in Ramle Masiyahu.

The fire was reported a little after 14:00, and many firemen were called to the scene. As of this hour 25 teams are at the scene, south, coast, Jerusalem and Dan, including two fire brigade helicopters.

Up until now there are eight victims of smoke inhalation, including four guards and a prisoner who were evacuated for medical treatment at Assaf Harofeh Hospital.

Currently, the fire brigade has not yet achieved control of the fire that broke out in the prison wood factory.

At the same time firefighters continue to try and take over the huge fire near the settlement of Karmi Yosef in the lowland. Dozens of residents were evacuated for fear the fire will spread to the houses. At the scene are firefighters from all over the central region and District Police forces.

Fire also in Shizfron

Fire broke out in a Shizfron structure on the hillside in Miron. Miron firefighters and rescue crews were called to the scene and after a while got full control of the fire.

65 year old man was seriously injured in the fire. EMTs, rescue team - Dan rescue, securing the Hilula gave the victim primary care, and he was evacuated by MDA helicopter to Rambam Hospital sedated and on a respirator, his body covered with 30% burns.

The fire started at about 15:50, allegedly, a generator located in the luggage storage structure used for those coming to Miron lit up. Volunteer's of the emergency rescue of ZAKA emergency center nearby who arrived at the scene, while fire crews and more rescue forces in Miron joined them.

After half an hour of shutdown operations, firefighters gained control of the fire, and fear of gas tanks that may blow up were removed.

Result of the fire, thick smoke was clearly visible in every area of Miron.
