Four Jerusalem yeshiva students who went for a trip in River Ashlim - located south of the Dead Sea – were stuck in the river in the dark, when they are exhausted and unable to get out.
The boys turned to the Zaka helpline to ask for help, and rescue forces began to operate for their detection.
Travelers, four yeshiva students aged 22-23, went into the river at 12:00 noon. At dusk they ran out of water, but were equipped with warm clothes.
Chaim Weingarten, commander of ZAKA Operations, told B'Chadrei Charedim that due to the complicated place the boys were in, he alerted the rescue unit Arad, hoping that within four hours the boys will be out of the river channel.
