Investigation currently being conducted in Beit She'an police station, together with the prison authorities, raises the suspicion that a resident of Afula who volunteered to give Torah classes in Shitta prison (formerly Shata prison), gave the suspect substance suspected as drugs to a prisoner in some cases.

The suspect, 30, was arrested last week on Thursday, and was brought to the Nazareth Magistrate's Court where he was remanded until tomorrow (Monday).

This is a man who voluntarily gave shiurim.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
