Rivlin on Gafni: "raised the prestige of the Knesset"

Finance Committee Member Reuven Rivlin expressed this morning (Wednesday) appreciation to the functioning of MK Moshe Gafni, as chairman of the Finance Committee.
Rivlin voiced his appreciation at the presence of exchange chairman of the Committee, which was replaced by MK Nissan Slomiansky from Habayit Hayehudi: "During the last term, stood before him fateful issues that affect the fate of all citizens, and he treated them and brought them to a decision in a responsible and prudent manner."
Rivlin added, "Gafni raised the prestige of the Knesset, and although ostensibly represents sector in particular, he has helped the government to perform its function and to run the country, and was attentive to every ordinary citizen who approached for assistance. His role as chairman of the Finance Committee was the glory of the Knesset."
