Finance Minister Yair Lapid referred today (Shabbos) on his Facebook page to the economic decrees. He wrote that "the economics do not change in a day, or three weeks. The first thing is to return to responsible behavior so that we will not become Greece or Spain.
"I know that decrees are scary and people do not finish the month, but what we do now is painful and necessary correction, and will not last too long," he wrote.
He claims that "All we are doing today is part of a long - term change will bring a deep change in education, housing, lower cost of living, equality of burden, all that matters to a man who works in Israel."
