United States and its protégé South Korea raised the alert tonight (Wednesday): Southern News Agency - Korean "UNAP" reported that the level of preparedness has been raised to 2 out of 4, due to estimates that North Korea will launch a ballistic missile in a near term test.

The concern is that the missile can hit the U.S. base located in Guam. South Korean government official said that "There are signs that North Korea could launch a Mosodan missile at the same time, even a 'Scud' and 'Nodonag' missile meant for short term.

In Korea, South Korea operates an emergency force engaged in monitoring and collecting information from its neighbor in the north.

Meanwhile, as a result of tensions between North and South Korea and the United States, the dictatorship of Kim Ghonj decided on closing the border crossing between China and Bandung. "Travel agencies are not allowed to bring groups of tourists to the crossing as the North Korean government asked citizens to leave the area," said a source to French news agency AFP, "according to our knowledge, businessmen are allowed to enter the territory of North Korea and leave it without restriction." The Northern government informed foreign citizens in the South to consider leaving the area for fear of "nuclear war", it says.
