The 'Jewish Voice' site claims: the attempts of the Jewish Department of GSS to recruit 'informers' who will act in outposts and settlements in Judea and Samaria are incessant. According to the site, the Department recently offered a young haredi from Jerusalem, Mir Yeshiva student, NIS 7000 per month for arrivals at outposts on Shabbos and reporting what is going on in them.

According to the report, about three and a half months go, the phone rang at Yaakov (pseudonym), a young haredi Mir yeshiva student from Jerusalem. On the line was a man who introduced himself as Boaz, who invited him for an interrogation at Moriah police. "He asked me lots of questions about the family, the yeshiva and me personally, and after an hour told me I could go, but not before warning me that I should not tell anyone he talked to me, but just say I had just been at some police investigation," the bochur told the 'Jewish Voice' site.

Yaakov did not understand why the strange conversation took place. A few days later, Yaakov received another phone call, during which Boaz asked him to come up to the station again. "I told him he just asked me all kinds of unclear questions and I have nothing to talk to him about," says Yaakov and emphasizes that at this stage he did not know yet that it was a GSS man. "He told me he wanted to help me and they should talk to me because they are making a survey about the Haredi community. I came back to the Moriah station and Boaz sat there in the office with a stack of pages, which read 'civil war survey'."

Boaz started asking Yaakov the questions from the survey, but not before making sure that Yaakov did not tell anyone about the existence of the meeting. "What interested him was what the Haredi public do if they decide to run public transportation on Shabbat, if they open pork stores and all kinds of questions like that. We talked and at the end of the conversation he gave me NIS 250 to pay for the trip and the time I was there and I signed a receipt.

"At this stage he did not say he is from the GSS but I realized it was someone who seriously wants to test things on the haredi community," says Yaakov.

After a week and a half another call came in from Boaz. This time he asked Yaakov to come to the police station in Neve Yaakov, fearing that at the Moriah station he might be recognized. "He managed to convince me and I got to the station, but did not go through the main entrance, but through an opening near the entrance that leads to the offices of the detectives," he says.

Then, at the third session, the cat was let out of the bag. "I went into the office in which Boaz and another man who called himself Meir were sitting, who told me that he heard from Boaz about me and revealed that both work for the GSS. He said they want me to start going for weekends to outposts in Judea and Samaria and tell them what's going on there."

Meir immediately reassured Yaakov and said he did not want Yaakov to be a "rat" but just tell them about the good things that happen at the outposts. According to Yaakov, Meir said that he will pay NIS 7,000 a month.

"I told Meir I was not connected to outposts, so he told me I should not worry and that if I give them a positive response, they will guide me what to do and how to behave, and it is acceptable that haredi guys come to outposts on Shabbos.

According to the report, to Yaakov's fears of turning into a 'snitch', answers were arranged by the duo. "I said I did not want to be a snitch and put people in jail, they said they will not put anyone into jail but just drive away or prevent.

"He told me that if he heard from me about a person who wants to harm the Temple Mount, for example, "we will block access to the Wall and stop him, but we will release him after we prevent what he wanted to do and that way you won't be an informer. To prove it, he asked me if I ever heard of someone who is sitting in jail for such things," said Yaakov.

At the end of the call Yaakov received from the Jewish Department people an additional NIS 250, and signed again on the receipt. "We agreed that I would think about it and they said they will call in a few days, and when they contacted said no, I do not want to deal with it. I am studying at a yeshiva and I do not want to get into it. "

The Jewish Voice site claims that Boaz and Meir are well known coordinators of the GSS by activists. Boaz served as in charge of the district of Shimon Hatzadik area, and recently moved to Chavot Gilad Farm. Meir was formerly coordinator of the Jewish department of the settlement of Yitzhar, and moved to the Jerusalem area, where his name comes up mostly in connection with recruitment efforts of young people.
