In a speeding enforcement activity of the police traffic department from the national traffic police unit at the lowland Highway 7 (near Gedera) a vehicle speeding at 136 kmph was caught – at a place where the speed limit to 90 kmph.

The driver, a Jerusalem resident, 29, was detained and then it turned out: the driver had never issued a license.

At an immediate hearing by traffic officer Sergeant Major Itay Landsman, the driver said that although he did not get a driver's license but he "learned driving and just didn't take a test". The 'pilot' said that he had not noticed how quickly he was driving because of the Turbo that the SAAB car he is driving has.

If that was not enough, the traffic policemen discovered: his car was taken off the road for scrapping.

The vehicle was towed away and the driver was arrested, interrogated before the traffic department examiners, was released for house arrest and quick judicial proceedings were started against him.
