The largest annual conference held by the Yad Leachim organization opened today at the Heichalei Malchus halls in Bnei Brak for the 13th meeting held each year the week after Pesach, on the agenda: strengthening the work of activists and volunteers all over the country, with Torah classes and kiruv activities among the youth.

This year the conference was dedicated to the memory of Rav Elyashiv zt"l. This year the activists will dedicate to strengthen the study of Torah law in all evening kollels and midrashot of the organization.

The first part of the meeting was opened at noon to only organization activists and they were addressed by the board member Rabbi Uri Zohar.

The conference was led by CEO of the organization Rabbi Eliezer Sorotzkin, who first called upon Hgrm"s Klein, Dayan at the Beis Din of HaGaon Vosner, to read the letter from HaGaon.

Then a brief speech was read by Hgr"n Karelitz, and then Hgri"g Edelstein spoke about the importance of the activity of Lev Leachim. Hgrm"tz Bergman in his words said: "there is a government that wants to destroy the world of Torah, our answer to this is to build more places of Torah." The organization's words were read by Executive Chairman Rabbi Baruch Shapiro.

At the height of the conference Reb Chaim Kanievsky came to participate. The main speech was carried out by the President of the organization Hgray"l Steinman who explained what faith is: "To know that what G-d does is what he wants, and counsel of G-d is established, now also all the trouble we are going through, it means we have to work on our faith. Words of encouragement during the third part of the conference were said by Rabbi Chezekiah Mishkovski and the halachic burden carried every year, Rabbi Yitzchak Zilberstein.
