The composition of the committee to formulate the law of equal burden was determined: Today (Wednesday) it became clear what will be the composition of the Perry Committee for equality of burden, which is supposed to draft within 49 days the Burden Equality Act, on the basis of the coalition agreements - and send it to the Knesset.
The committee is officially known as a "ministerial committee to integrate haredim and minorities in military and civilian service for their incorporation into the labor market and to create an equality of burden". It is headed by the Minister of Science and Technology, Yaakov Perry.
Other members of the committee are: Defense Minister Moshe (Bogie) Ya'alon, Minister of Housing and Construction Uri Ariel, Environment Minister Amir Peretz, and probably Yair Shamir from Yisrael Beiteinu.
After the committee will suggest the law, and the law will pass in the Knesset, the Commission will continue to monitor the implementation of the law and, if necessary, will be authorized to offer government amendments.
The government is expected to approve the establishment of the Commission next week.
