If when you packed your bags before traveling abroad you made sure not to forget clothes, kosher food and other necessary items, from now on check also that you possess one of the following: regular partition, sophisticated partition, labels for glasses, sunglasses with blue sticker, or glasses with a semi-transparent sticker.
A leaflet recently released by Breslev shows: On the way to Uman-guard your eyes.
The leaflet, spanning four pages, brings up numerous suggestions and has a common denominator: how to avoid watching movies or prohibited sights during flight abroad and especially to the tomb of Rabbi Nachman in Uman on Rosh Hashanah eve. Those behind the production of the newsletter are 'purity of the camp', operating recently against watching movies on flights.
Both solutions which are known and are shown in the leaflet are partitions:
The first type - a simple partition. "Benefit only against the video screen hanging from the ceiling also called a group video." According to the bulletin, the partition was invented after the passengers who flew to New York had to tie the children's eyes with a handkerchief for 10 hours to "so they will not be impure by the ugly films."
The second type – a sophisticated partition. It consists of three parts and serves the passenger who holds it against the ceiling video screen and even against the personal transmitted video screen and also "hides anything ugly in the surrounding crowd."
Shawls for men
But if partitions are not enough, here is the following gimmick - offered in the leaflet: stickers or glasses that come with stickers.
The glasses products are considered more prestigious than the partitions because it guards the eyes on a higher level than the partitions. In this case there are two types:
Opaque blue sticker for sunglasses or semi-transparent sticker for glasses. In this the producers of the leaflet recruited two of Brelsev's most influential chassidim - Rabbi Yehoshua Dov Rubinstein and Rabbi Shimon Shapira, to serve as "models" for both types of products.
The ultimate highlight of the products is the shawl - known as a 'scarf'.
It turns out that not only shawl cult women wear the shawl which covers most of their face, but also men who travel to Uman for Rosh Hashanah. The product is considered the most rigorous and it guards the eyes in any situation whatsoever.
In this case too, the Breslev rabbis - Rabbi Nathan David Shapira, Rabbi Nachman Nathan Teichner and other rabbis – wore the shawls and took photos with it. "Associate influencers are ready to pose so that another person will guard his eyes."
What is the price of each product?
The cost of a simple partition is 50 shekels; a more sophisticated partition costs 100 shekels; Price of the sunglasses with blue sticker ranged from 20 to 40 shekels depending on the quality of the glasses, glasses with semi transparent sticker with the number zero lenses cost 130 shekels.
